It wasn’t until this night that I believed everything happens for a reason. This was the last time I was with her and it’s crazy because I got hella emotional with her and I was letting her know how much she meant to me and everything she done for me. I was crying and I didn’t even care who was around to hear. And the whole point was that I thanked her for EVERYTHING and told her how much I loved her. After that night, I hadn’t seen her since but we’d text sometimes, talk on the phone here and then, and a month later, she passed away and all I could think about was that night and how meant to be it was for me to thank her for everything up to that point and I’m so happy that I was able to tell her all of that my last night spent with her. She always talked so highly of me and even people I don’t know would tell me how she would talk Gil this Gil that and it goes to show how special I was to her and she made me feel even more special. To this day, I still wouldn’t know how to repay her for treating me the way she did. There ain’t many genuine people in this world you can say shown you what it means to be a best friend.
